Sam brings over two decades of expertise in construction, project management, and the energy sector. As the General Contractor and Owner of Castle Row Construction since 2002, he has overseen the successful completion of diverse residential and commercial projects, managing over $6 million annually. His ability to deliver top-tier results while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and project efficiency has made him a trusted leader in the construction industry.

 

Since 2015, Sam has also served as Portfolio Manager and Partner at Castle Row, LLC,  where he helps direct a broad portfolio of real estate ventures, ensuring both operational success and long-term growth for the company.

Before his work at Castle Row, Sam had a distinguished career with Chevron, starting as a Drill Site Manager from 2006 to 2012, where he directed day-to-day well site operations, coordinating teams and managing logistics for complex onshore and offshore projects. From 2012 to 2015, as a Drilling Engineer, he planned and supervised multi-million-dollar oil and gas operations, optimizing drilling processes, and delivering $5 million in cost savings through an innovative batch drilling program in the Gulf of Mexico.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an Executive MBA from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is a licensed Commercial and Residential General Contractor and is deeply committed to his local community. Sam is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette Class XXXI, and a participant in the LEDA CEO Roundtable. In addition, he has been an active member of the Acadiana Home Builders Association for nine years, the Realtor Association of Acadiana for three years, and One Acadiana, continually contributing to the development and growth of the region.

Kasey is a highly accomplished Project Manager with over 15 years of diverse experience across the construction, electrical, and infrastructure sectors, complemented by a distinguished background in the United States Air Force.

 

Kasey brings extensive expertise in creating and interpreting contractual documents, managing complex, multimillion-dollar projects, and leading cross-functional teams. Proficient in Accubid, Xactimate, Microsoft Suite, and Bluebeam, he excels in specification reviews, takeoffs, contract negotiations, labor productivity reporting, and subcontractor billing (AIA). Known for a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety, Kasey is OSHA 30 Certified and highly skilled in conducting safety audits, coordinating project schedules, and supervising project teams.

 

Throughout his career, Kasey has led numerous high-profile projects, including storm repairs, commercial and residential renovations, and infrastructure development for some of the nation’s largest companies, consistently delivering projects on time and within budget. His portfolio includes successful management of major projects such as the Tesla Gigafactory in Reno, NV, the Google Office in Austin, TX, and MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX.

 

Armed with a Bachelor’s in Project Management and Sports & Recreation Management, as well as an Associate’s Degree in Construction Technology, Kasey thrives in dynamic environments, leveraging best practices to adapt to rapid changes and meet organizational goals.
